This image is part of series of life-sized "mounted' butterflies and moth specimens that I am creating to try to help offset the rising global trade of threatened and endangered insects. My specimens aren't pinned, they are alive and sitting on the paper. I want to continue to raise awareness surrounding the very real massive decline of insects globally, so I am going to focus some energy on species in other parts of the world as part of this initiative.
